Cigarette Fly
This "Cigarette fly" is the result of a special collaboration between my daughter, Ber, and me. We created it as a nostalgic and humorous nod to the character-rich scenes of the classic "Fly fishers of Old"—a time and place where a lit smoke was just as common a sight on the river as a well-presented dry fly. We worked together on every single part of the fly, teaming up to get the filter and tobacco sections looking just right and crafting the large, wispy wing that perfectly simulates a persistent puff of smoke curling away from the ember. It was a fun shared project that brought the spirit of those old-timers back to the tying bench, capturing the essence of legendary, smoke-filled fishing camp stories.
